Murrells Inlet, SC (WBTW) – St. James head football coach Joey Price is leaving the Shark program after just 1 season on the sidelines. Price will step away from the game completely and become a minister at Oak Dale Baptist Church in Loris. He spoke to News 13 on the phone and said he always “felt” he had a calling to go into ministry work. Price went just 2-8 in his only season at St. James, but enjoyed a lot of success coaching in North Carolina where we won 5 state championships and won over 240 games at the high school level.
