Employers looking to hire new employees held a career fair in Florence Wednesday at the Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology at Florence- Darlington Technical College.
Nearly 700 people attended the event.
” It’s pretty exciting I enjoy looking and seeing all the jobs around and opportunities for everybody so that is a great opportunity to step forward,” said Joshua Brown Florence Darlington Technical College Student.
Wyman Gordon, Town of Timmonsville, CareSouth-Carolina, Tender Care Home Health Care, Galey & Lord, Sonoco, Bankers Life, SC Department of Transportation, SC Department of Public Safety, Carolina International Trucks, AMI Kids, ABW Golf Carts, Clean World USA, Verizon, AO Smith, Manpower, Noble Resources, The Home Depot, Carpenter Technology, SC Department of Corrections, Monster, Two Hawk, Target, Perdue Farms and MOR PPM all attended the event to look for employees for open positions.
