MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Republican Presidential Candidate Jeb Bush concludes his run for the White House after little voter support in South Carolina.

“Tonight, I am suspending my campaign,” Bush said to his supports who cheered him on as he thanked his family and friends for their support during the hard fought battle.

“Im proud of the campaign we’ve run to unify our country,” said Bush. “I congratulate my competitors that are remaining on the island.”

Bush collected roughly 8% of the votes in the South Carolina GOP Primary Saturday night at last count, lagging far behind the leaders Donald Trump (34%), Marco Rubio (22%) and Ted Cruz (22%).

“Tonight I’m going to sleep with the best friend I have and the love of my life, and I’m totally blessed to be the father of three extraordinary children and four, as you might know, nearly perfect grandchildren,” concluded Bush.
