FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – One person was trapped inside a vehicle after a tractor trailer collided with a car in Florence Friday morning.
Public Information Officer Anthony Fox with West Florence Fire Department says firefighters used the jaws of life for about 10
minutes before freeing the victim trapped inside a car that collided with an 18 wheeler at the intersection of Alligator Road at Knollwood Road. The wreck happened around 8:06 a.m. Friday morning and sent one person to the hospital.
The Florence County Sheriff’s Office and Florence Police Department were also on scene assisting with traffic control. South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
