ANDERSON, SC – Anderson County deputies say they have made an arrest in several indecent exposure incidents over the past several months.
38-year-old Kevin Springer has confessed to at least 3 incidents, according to deputies.
He is charged with Sex / criminal sexual conduct with minor, 3rd degree – commit / attempt lewd act., and 2 counts of Sex / Indecent exposure.
All the victims said the man was in a vehicle and called them over to get directions.
The victims said when they got to the vehicle the man had his genitals exposed and was seeking gratification.
One juvenile victim says she was walking home after the school bus dropped her off when the suspect asked her for directions.
She approached the SUV, but ran away when she saw his genitals.
Another incident happened at a Dollar General on Highway 76 in Pendleton.
The last incident happened a the Old Navy on Station Dr. where Sheriff Skipper and another deputy stopped his vehicle as Springer was leaving.
They say Springer confessed and once he posted bond, confessed to two more incidents.
Springer is in the Anderson Co. Detention Center waiting on another bond hearing.
Deputies think Springer may have exposed himself in more acts that haven’t been reported yet.
Sheriff Skipper said, “Any other persons or victims are encouraged to contact the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office at (864)260-4435 to file a report and they will be investigated thoroughly.”
