LITTLE RIVER, S.C. (WBTW)- Horry Electric Cooperative reports downed power lines and two broken poles at the intersection of Highway 57 and Highway 111 in Little River.
As of 2:38 pm, the website reports more than 1600 people are without power.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol website shows crews are currently responding to a traffic accident in that area.
Horry Electric says crews estimate at least 6 hours for repairs to be made and power to be restored.
