MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – It can be one of the most-requested holiday gift items – a new pet. Tina Hunter, with the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, was on News 13 Now Friday to talk about its upcoming holiday adoption event, “Home for the Holidays,” and give some advice to families considering giving a pet as a present.

The “Home for the Holidays” event is December 20-23 at the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach and will have pet adoptions for $20. The fee includes spay/neuter, vaccines and micro-chipping. For more information, go to www.hsnmb.org.
