Hugs for Horses, a therapeutic riding program in Georgetown for children with disabilities, will host a horse show this Sunday. Participants in the program will have an opportunity to ride in front of family and friends, win prizes and enjoy games and other activities. Georgetown County Parks and Recreation will assist with the event and run a game station for kids.
The event begins at 2 p.m. at the Georgetown Equestrian Center, 215 Equestrian Drive (off Hwy. 51).
This event is a collaboration between Hugs for Horses, Georgetown County Parks and Recreation, the Georgetown County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs, Georgetown County School District, the Frances P. Bunnelle Foundation, the United Way and private donors.
