MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) As the temperatures continue to rise, many people head out to enjoy the water park.

At Myrtle Waves, folks cool off in the wave pool and the parks water slides. Although it isn’t officially summer yet, managers say the early start to the hot weather has impacted their bottom line.

“It actually feels like mid July with the heat,” Myrtle Waves Marketing Manager Rebecca Feagin said. “We definitely noticed an increase in attendance this year from both group bookings and attendance people coming in and getting a start to the summer early.”
