Horry County police seek suspect in theft at car dealership

Horry County police are looking for a suspect in a theft at a car dealership.

On Sunday, at least one person in a Cadillac vehicle is “believed to have stolen the wheels and rims off of multiple vehicles at the Jud Kuhn Chevrolet dealership in Little River,” according to a press release from Mikayla Moskov, with the Horry County Police Department.

Officers responded to the dealership, located at 3740 Hwy 9 E. in Little River, around 8 a.m. on Monday for a grand larceny call, according to an incident report from the HCPD. Upon arriving, officers spoke with a manager.

According to the report, the manager reported to police a gray in color Cadillac came into the parking lot around 11 p.m. on Sunday and parked in the rear near other trucks. The suspect then reportedly removed eight tires and rims from vehicles and left the parking lot around 11:30 p.m.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Det. Foote at 843-915-TIPS (8477).
