HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) – The Horry County Police Department is searching for a man they say is wanted for armed robbery in Horry County.
According to a tweet on the Horry County Police Department page, police are searching for Corey June Burke, 30, for armed robbery. Police say Burke is considered armed and dangerous. Burke is described as 6’0″ and 180lbs.
According to a police report, officers responded to Fairway Drive in Little River on December 9, 2017 for a burglary call. When officers arrived, the victim said he and two women were in the shower when one of them got out, when he followed. The victim says when he did, he was hit in the head and knocked out. He told police that when he was conscious again he was tied to a chair in his living room. That is when he told police that two men came into his home and waved a pistol in his face. After the suspects left his home, the victim was able to free himself and run to a neighbors house to call police.
