SOCASTEE, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Police officers are looking for a woman they say robbed a bank on Socastee Boulevard Tuesday morning.
According to Lt. Raul Denis, a black female in her mid-20’s pulled a gun on employees of the CresCom Bank around 8:30 a.m. as they opened up the business. She then forced her way inside with a handgun and took money.
The woman was last seen running away towards Socastee High School.
Socastee Elementary and Socastee High School were both placed on lockdown as police search for the robber.
The woman is described as a black female in her late 20’s wearing a black t-shirt and a black harinet or baret.
