HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – The Horry County Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a woman believed to be targeting the purses of elderly women.
According to the department, the woman has been visiting popular stores and supermarkets in Horry County. Investigators allege the woman has snatched several purses when the victims turn their backs.
The woman, officials say, has been seen in the Restaurant Row and Carolina Forest areas.
A post on the Horry County Police Department Facebook page Wednesday identified the woman who officers are looking for as Kristy Hundley, 43. The department, according to the post, has warrants for her arrest for credit card fraud and forgery.
Officials say Hundley is 5’1″, about 110 pounds and has blonde hair that is changed regularly. They say she may be accompanied by her boyfriend and in an older green or blue 4-door car.
