LORIS, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Police made an arrest Tuesday after a Monday shooting incident over a missing iPad.
La’Darius Qashawn Young, 18, was arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Monday officers responded to a home on Highway 701 North in regard to a report of a shooting.
On arrival, one victim was holding a makeshift tourniquet around another victim’s arm.
The report says the two were at the victim’s home when the suspects pulled up in a Chrysler 300 and accused them of stealing an iPad. One of the victims said they never had the suspect’s iPad, and he must have laid it down on top of a car at a location everyone was at earlier and drove off.
One suspect began waving a gun around and handed it off to another suspect who shot one of the victims then turned the gun and fired on the other victim as they took off running.
The person shot was taken to the hospital by helicopter.
