MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW)- Horry County Police have found the body a missing man who is said to have fallen into the water while working on his boat at Bucksport Marina in Conway.

This is according to an Horry County Police Department Twitter post.

Horry County Fire Rescue first arrived to the scene at midnight Friday night, following calls that someone had gone missing in the water.Search crews from Horry County Fire Rescue, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, and Horry County Police had been out at Bucksport since 10 a.m. Saturday.

Officials reportedly had six divers searching the water for the man’s body.

First responders located his body around 5:45 Saturday about 150 feet from the dock at the marina.

“After extensive search of the river, we located the subject that was lost in the river today. The department of natural resources and Horry County Police are taking the investigation from here,” said Horry County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Dan Shankle.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden says Tushawn Polite, 40, from Hemingway died. The case has been ruled an accidental drowning.
