MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Horry County Police Department and Horry County Fire and Rescue are involved in an investigation off of Highway 501 Wednesday afternoon.
According to a press release from the office of Solicitor Jimmy Richardson, Horry County officials were asked to help the solicitor’s office in an investigation off Highway 501 near Waccamaw Pottery Wednesday.
The release states that investigators were on scene from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on a secondary road and caused no traffic disruptions. Officials have not specified how the investigation originated or what officials were searching for near the water.
