An Horry County man has been arrested and is accused of inappropriately touching a 10-year-old girl.

According to an incident report from the Horry County Police Department, officers responded to a sexual misconduct report in the Longs area around 7 a.m. on December 9, 2017. The complainant reportedly stated to police that the victim called her and asked the complainant to pick her due to being inappropriately touched by the suspect.

When the complainant picked up the victim and took her home, the victim reportedly explained what happened, the report says. The victim reportedly stated that the suspect had picked her up from one room and carried her to another to be laid down there. When they got to the other room, the suspect allegedly told the victim to take her pants off to prevent sand from getting into the bed. While sleeping, the victim said she was awoken to the suspect inappropriately touching her.

The report also says all of the information given to police was provided through the complainant as the victim was upset and reportedly didn’t want to talk.

The suspect is identified in the report as Davis Kennith Glover, of Longs.

Glover, 50, was booked around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, according to J. Reuben Long Detention Center booking records. He is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the third degree.
