CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) – Horry County Fire Rescue Chief Fred Crosby will retire on Friday, according to a county spokesperson.
Public information director Lisa Bourcier said Crosby gave his notice to retire Wednesday morning. Bourcier tells News13 Assistant Chief Scott Thompson will serve as interim chief.
Crosby has served as chief since November 2012, according to Horry County Fire Rescue’s website.
