HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Sheriff’s Office says one of their deputies was involved in a car accident Tuesday.
According to the Horry County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Deputy Gorenflo was hit when someone pulled out in front of him at an intersection.
The page says the deputy was wearing a seat belt but still sustained several injuries. The person who pulled out in front of the officer is reportedly “doing well.”
Gorenflo should return to work in several weeks.
