CONWAY (WBTW) – It’s been about a week since Horry County Police say someone stole a fish-shaped recyclable receptacle from the Enterprise Boat Landing and spray-painted graffiti in the area.
A police report and surveillance photos released Friday morning show.
News13 has reported about efforts by county leaders to encourage more people to recycle and the committee’s reaction to the vandalism.
Someone called police to report the missing receptacle, along with spray paint to the portable bathrooms and signs around the landing. That person also told police about seeing several large pick-up trucks driving into the boat landing the night before.
Surveillance photos show a light-colored four-door pick-up truck with several people inside who came to the landing and took the fish.
