A home in Mullins was completely destroyed by a roaring fire on Friday.

The fire broke out just before noon at a home in the 200 block Northwest Front Street near Main Street, Mullins Fire officials said.

From photos and video, heavy flames could be seen coming from the back and front of the house. A very large plume of black smoke from the large blaze also was spotted by Mullins residents.

Fire officials said that no one was hurt in the fire. No one was at home when the fire happened, according to Mullins Fire.

A white Cadillac was parked in the carport that was connected to the house and suffered heavy damage.

Mullins Fire Department sent four trucks to fight the fire and received help from Marion City Fire with one truck, officials said.
