GEORGETOWN, SC – Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. Help meet the need for blood by donating on Friday, April 7, during Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital’s blood drive.
Members of the community can donate from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the hospital, 606 Black River Road in Georgetown. Appointments will take priority, but walk-ins are welcome. Appointments can be made by calling 843-527-7173. Online registration can be completed at www.redcross.org.
In addition to having a valid ID, blood donors must be healthy, be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds.-This information is from a Press Release.
