Lanes of US 17 Bypass in the Myrtle Beach area are blocked after reports of a head-on crash with injuries early Saturday morning.
The incident happened just before 2 am in the area of 48th Ave. North and US 17 Bypass.
A car and an SUV collided in the crash and the SUV was on its side in the ditch off the highway.
Northbound US 17 lanes starting at 38th Ave. N. are closed and traffic is being diverted because of the crash.
Initial reports from the scene indicated one vehicle was flipped on its side after the crash.
