MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – On Friday, Horry County police received information that a man reported missing out of Collier County Florida might have been in the Myrtle Beach area around the date of the hurricane.
Sergeant Jonathan Martin with Horry County police says 54-year-old Cosme Acosta Guerrero had communicated with family by phone told them he was staying in a Hurricane shelter in October and would contact them on the following date. He has since failed to communicate with any family which is out of the ordinary.
He was believed to possibly be staying in the Socastee area.
Guerrero is 5’7″ tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a mole next to his left eye and has tattoos of four hearts with names on his right forearm.
