CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Police Department officials confirm Deputy Chief Maurice Jones is retiring.
Horry County police spokesperson Krystal Dotson says Deputy Chief Jones served the department for 33 years.
“We are grateful for his years of dedicated service and wish him a very happy retirement,” Dotson stated in an email.
His last day will be July 1.
