LORIS, SC (WBTW) – Police have launched an investigation after a home with four people inside was shot at Tuesday night.
The report from the Horry County Police Department says officers responded to a home off of Highway 917 in Loris Tuesday just before 11 p.m. When police arrived they spoke with one victim who says she, her two sons and her grandma were home when someone shot into her house. The victim was reportedly in bed when she heard dogs barking, and several loud pops.
According to the report, she heard about five shots and noticed several holes inside her house from the rounds fired. Officers say it appeared that the victim’s car was shot and they were able to find a 9 mm shell casing on the dirt road beside the home.
No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made in the case.
