DILLON, SC (WBTW) – Harvest Hope served some hot meals to flood victims in Dillon today. They staged their mobile food truck at Bethel AME Church.
The director of that church’s food pantry says their service is about far more than giving people something to eat.
” I’m thankful for Harvest Hope because I’ve been dealing with Harvest Hope now about twenty something years, not just at this location, but at the previous church my husband pastored we started a ministry there too of sharing and giving and it’s been an asset to me because I enjoy making people happy ,” Mattie Chapman, Director of Food Pantry Ministry Bethel AME Church Dillon said.
Harvest Hope also brought its trucks to Darlington, Florence and Marion Wednesday.
