HARTSVILLE, SC – The Hartsville Police Department conducted a special operation to curb gun violence on Thursday. The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office assisted. Police seized three firearms. They also made eight arrests, including one juvenile who police say was carrying a pistol. Included in those charges were four drug offenses, one Driving Under the Influence, three Driving under Suspensions, two Unlawful Carrying of Pistols, one Felon in Possession of a Pistol, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Stop for Blue Lights.
