Three people have been arrested after a 7-month-old baby died in Hartsville last week, the Darlington County Coroner says.
SLED arrested Jabrey Deshawn McFarland, 21of Hartsville Jalisa Cranford Nykez Cranford 23 of Hartsville, and Tyquira La’Quasia Graham, 19 of Hartsville.
All three are charged with unlawful conduct towards a child.
The 7-month-old infant from Hartsville was taken to an area hospital on Monday March 2, according to Hardee.
According to arrest warrants, the incident happened at 405 Swift Creek Road at the Swift Creek Apartments in Hartsville
Hardee said Jaylen McFarland died from Positional Asphyxia.
McFarland died after falling between the mattress he was sleeping on and the wall of the bedroom according to Darlington Coroner Todd Hardee.
