HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – An early morning crash claimed the life of a Hartsville man Thursday.
According to Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee, Clayton Mozingo died after losing control of the moped he was driving and crashing into a utility pole.
Hardee said the crash happened on Poole Street in Hartsviille around 1:40 a.m. Mozingo died at the scene, adds Hardee.
The Darlington County Coroner’s Office and the Hartsville Police Department continue to investigate the incident.
