(WSPA) – Spending on Halloween is expected to reach a record high this year.
The National Retail Federation estimates Americans will spend more than $9 billion on festivities – about $500 million more than last year.
The most popular costumes are expected to be an action hero or superhero.
About 179 million Americans celebrate Halloween.
