Conway Police were called to an armed robbery Friday morning at a local restaurant.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. at the Waffle House on the 2900 block of Church Street. At first, police did not think the man got away with anything, but later they say he took off “with a bag containing an undisclosed amount of money”.
Sgt. Selena Small said the suspect is described as a black male wearing khaki pants, dark hoodie and carrying a backpack. He was armed with a handgun.
The man then ran out the back door.
Small said no one was injured during the incident.
