Gun shots fired in parking lot of Boardwalk Winery

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Police report shots were fired in the parking lot of Boardwalk Winery in the early morning on Saturday.

Police said they heard four gun shots in the area at about 1:40 a.m. Upon investigation, they found four .40 caliber shell casings in the parking lot. Three of the shell casings were found in the middle of the parking lot and one was found under a car.

Police were at the scene on a call about a man who threatened people at 1314 Celebrity Circle. The man said he was going to go to his car to get a gun, according to the report. While canvassing the area, police heard the shots.

Broadway security is working on downloading surveillance video from the parking area.

The incident remains under investigation.
