LORIS, SC (WBTW) – The Horry County Police Department responded to a shooting in Loris Tuesday night.
Horry County police arrived on the scene of a shooting near the corner of Church and Spring Streets in Loris just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night, according to a tweet.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick confirms Charles Edward Durant II, 20, of Green Sea, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not commented on if a suspect has been taken into custody.
