Water restored, no boil advisory after water main break in Loris

A water main break in Loris left residents without water on Monday morning. 

Neeraj Patel, with the Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority, confirms the water main break was on Holly View Lane. 

According to Patel, HTC was working in the area and hit a 4-inch water line around 10:45 a.m., causing people in the area to lose water. The water line was repaired around 12:15 p.m. and no issues with water have been reported. There is no boil water advisory.
