Volunteer Organizations Assisting Disasters will have drop-off locations in the Grand Strand area for flood relief items. 

According to a post on Myrtle Beach City Government’s Facebook page, the City of Myrtle Beach, VOAD, and a local radio station collected a truck load of items on Sunday during the Full Moon Party at Chapin Park. 

The following locations will be drop off locations for additional items:

  • All area Lowes Foods
  • Chick-fil-a (Carolina Forest)- 85 Rodeo Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579
  • Fun Warehouse- 2349 Dick Pond Road, Surfside Beach, SC 29575
  • Ledo Pizza- 220 Highway 17 North, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582

According to the post, the following items are needed:

  • Canned Meats
  • Peanut butter
  • Jelly (plastic jars)
  • Canned fruit
  • Canned corn, canned peas, and canned mixed vegetables
  • Mac-n-cheese
  • Soup (no glass jars)
  • Gatorade/Powerade
  • Shampoo/conditioner
  • Deodorant
  • Soap
  • Toothbrush/toothpaste
  • Lip balm
  • Razors and shaving cream
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Brush/comb
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Laundry detergent
  • Paper towels and toilet paper
  • Large trash bags
  • Clorox wipes
  • Dust/mist masks
  • Work gloves
  • First aid kids
  • Baby diapers and baby wipes
  • Adult diapers
  • Flashlights and batteries

The following items are not accepted: clothing, furniture, linens, and items in class jars.
