MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence arrived in Myrtle Beach Saturday afternoon.
WBTW’s Maggie Lorenz was at the Myrtle Beach International Airport where a crowd gathered to see the landing of Air Force 2.
The Pences arrived in Myrtle Beach around 2:45 p.m. Saturday and Vice President Pence spoke at an event at Coastal Carolina University in support of Governor Henry McMaster. The runoff election between Governor McMaster and opponent John Warren is slated for Tuesday.
President Trump is scheduled to be in South Carolina Monday to campaign for Governor McMaster. The president is expected to speak in West Columbia for an election eve rally, according to McMaster’s camp.
