The effort to bring new entertainment options to the Conway area moved forward Wednesday.

Local leaders and community members gathered to break ground on “810 Conway” – a $4 million upscale bowling, entertainment and dining complex.

810 will be located off of Allied Drive – across US-501 from Coastal Carolina University and Horry-Georgetown Technical College.

The complex will offer bowling, bocce ball, billiards, a dining area and two full-service bars. If the idea sounds familiar, it’s because 810 is modeled off sister-complex 710 North Myrtle Beach.

“After a pretty thorough site selection, we ended up on this location because we think it’s great access to both of the student bodies here and the residents of Conway,” Owner Mike Siniscalchi said.

810 Conway is the first business to take advantage of new incentives created by the City of Conway to attract additional forms of family-friendly entertainment to the area.

Siniscalchi says he expects 810 to create about 50 to 60 part-time and full-time jobs.
