SURFSIDE BEACH (WBTW) – An accident at the intersection of U.S. 17 Bypass and SC 544 near Surfside Beach has blocked the road, according to the state highway patrol.
SCDOT cameras show traffic moving slowly around the intersection. A truck hauling a trailer is blocking the southbound lanes.
The incident happened at about 8:25 a.m. on Tuesday. No injuries have been reported by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
