CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A tractor-trailer knocked down the power lines on Main Street at Sherwood Thursday afternoon.
The windscreen of the semi-truck hit the lines by Conway Feed & Garden at the corner of Main Street and Sherwood. No injuries were reported.
Officers asked drivers to avoid the area while crews work to secure the lines and clear the scene. The northbound lane at Boundary and Main Street have closed as well as the eastbound lane at Millpond Road and Oak Street.
A school bus drove up to the power lines but stopped as a precaution. No students were on the bus at the time.
