MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A national wine retailer, Total Wine, is opening in Myrtle Beach on Thursday.
The wine and spirits superstore is having its grand opening starting at 9 a.m. at the 550 Seaboard Street store until Sunday. The store will offer a “huge selection of grand opening specials.”
Total Wine & More has partnered with the Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum and will donate a portion of its sales to the museum during the grand opening.
Each store is between 20,000 and 50,000 square feet. The stores carry around 8,000 types of wines, 3,000 types of spirits and 2,500 beers.
Total Wine, which is headquartered in Maryland, has more than 170 stores in 20 states. Currently, the closest store to Knoxville is Greeneville, S.C.
