MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Topgolf broke ground for its new location in Myrtle Beach, the company announced Monday morning.

The Myrtle Beach location – across the street from Broadway at the Beach, at the southeast corner of 29th Avenue and Robert Grissom Parkway — will be the company’s first in South Carolina. It’s expected to open in “early 2019.”

With Topgolf’s “signature game,” players score points by hitting balls into any target, according to the company’s website.

“Through the premium experience of play, food and beverage and music, Topgolf inspires people of all ages and skill levels – even non-golfers – to come together for playful competition,” the company said in a press release.

Topgolf said the new location will create 350 full and part-time jobs.
