LORIS, SC (WBTW) – Todd Harrelson won a special election for Loris’ mayor by one vote and a runoff election has been scheduled for June.

According to the unofficial results posted on the City of Loris’ Facebook page, Harrelson won the election with 182 votes. Michael E. Suggs received 181 votes, Joan S. Gause received 71 votes, and Jeannie Tyler Fox received 15 votes. There was one write-in vote cast.

A runoff election will be held on June 11.
