Tammy Moorer’s trial will continue after several motions were dismissed.

According to a court document from the Court of General Sessions 15th Judicial District, filed on August 15, Moorer’s attorneys filed several pre-trial motions on August 6:

Motion to change venue

Motion to dismiss (speedy trial right)

Motion to dismiss (violation attorney client privilege)

Motion to exclude testimony (headlight spread pattern)

Motion to allow testimony (unavailable alibi witness)

Motion to lift gag order

The court document also says a previous court order, dated June 22, mandated that “[a]ll pre-trial motions shall be filed, served and a copy provided to the undersigned Administrative Judge by 7/13/18.”

The document adds “the defendant’s pre-trial motions were not filed, served or provided to the Administrative Judge by 7/13/18 and, therefore, should be dismissed.”
