Myrtle Beach, SC (WBTW) – “Letters from Home” is a classic 1940’s style tap dancing and singing show. It will be performed at the Carolina Opry on Sunday, May 6th. The program is a tribute to veterans, active military, and their families.
In 2010, Erinn Diaz founded Letters From Home in Winston-Salem, NC with a mission to tour the country honoring our nation’s veterans, active military heroes and their families, by reviving patriotism through music. Since that time they have become one of the fastest-growing musical movements in the nation, touring over 40 states. Their incredible singing harmonies, charming personalities and phenomenally energized tap dancing will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter and reviving your patriotic passion!
Erinn produced the show at the suggestion of her late father, Pat Dearth, a Coast Guard veteran. She is currently touring several versions of Letters From Home, and is also the founding artistic director of Spring Theatre in Winston-Salem, a published author, a national tap dance champion and has been seen in over 200 productions and movies.
The show will not only feature Diaz, but will also feature Courtney Groves from Minneapolis, MN who joined LFH’s Bombshell Duo Show in 2016. Courtney is a renowned singer and dancer who has been in several shows and movies. A special guest star will also appear in the show: Mr Lynn Roberts from Phoenix, Arizona who is most known for his impressions of Red Skelton, Jack Benny and Bob Hope. They will be accompanied by the 8-piece Letters From Home band. The show is incredibly interactive and involves the entire audience.
Tickets are $45, $35 for groups. VIP tickets are also available for $75, which includes premium seating and a personal meet-and-greet with the performers and band prior to the performance. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.thecarolinaopry.com/special-events/
