South Carolina Department of Transportation has given the go-ahead for a pedestrian safety project on SC 544 near Coastal Carolina University.
According to a press release from SCDOT, the project will cost $600,000 and create pedestrian safety improvements on SC 544 from Founders Drive to Cox Ferry Road. This will include installing a raised concrete median with fencing and curbing.
