The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) tells News13 that the Main Street Bridge in Conway is expected to reopen by Memorial Day (Monday, May 27).
“SCDOT is making every effort to meet that goal. We would have periodic nighttime lane closures on the bridge after it was reopened to traffic.”
It’s unclear how long nighttime lane closures would last once the bridge reopens.
The bridge closed earlier in the year for repairs.
