MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Restrooms are coming to Savannah’s Playground in Myrtle Beach.
The construction activity you see at Savannah’s Playground, adjacent to Crabtree Memorial Gym, is a new restroom facility specifically for the playground. Currently, playground patrons use either the gym’s bathrooms or portable restrooms.
“Because the playground is so popular and is open seven days a week, the City of Myrtle Beach realized that permanent restrooms were needed,” the city said in a recent Facebook post. The $100,000 construction project is underway now.
Savannah’s Playground is a $1.5 million enabling playground designed for children of all abilities. You’ll find it at Grand Park, near The Market Common. Access is from Pampas Drive or Meyers Avenue, off Farrow Parkway.
