With possibly life threatening flooding expected in Georgetown County, residents will be able to pick up pre-filled sandbags Saturday, according to a press release.

The press release from Georgetown County says free sandbags will be distributed to residents at two locations.

The first is at the Pawleys Island Recycling Convenience Center on Grate Drive.

The other is at the China Grove gas station on North Fraser Street.

Staff will be there to load the sandbags into you car. There is a limit of 10 per household and you will need proof of residency to get the sandbags.

Sandbags will be given out starting at 10 a.m. and will go until 6 p.m.
