According to South Carolina Highway Patrol’s website, a crash on Highway 544 and Dick Pond Road has blocked portions of the roadway.
An SC-DOT camera shows several lanes were blocked as crews responded to the accident.
SC Highway Patrol says there are injuries in connection to this accident. We are working to learn how many people were injured and the extent of their injuries.
Highway Patrol tells us a vehicle hit a pole, knocking out traffic lights in the area. It’s unclear how long it will take to fix the lights.
